Roy J. Ritzert

Mr. Ritzert, a United States Army Veteran, is part Owner, CEO, and Co-founder of Ritzert Co., Inc. He started in the Mechanical Construction Industry as a Commercial and industrial plumber and pipefitter in 1967. He later founded Ritzert Plumbing Co., Inc. in 1972 doing Commercial and Industrial Plumbing, Piping, and Site Utilities. In 1990 he increased the scope of work to include Commercial and Industrial Total Mechanical HVAC Work. Then in 1999 he changed the Company name to Ritzert Co., Inc. to include total Commercial and Industrial General Construction Work and project development. He has completed many multi-million-dollar projects. He has held the Master Indiana Plumbing license for the company since 1971 and several other licenses for the company. He is proficient with Microsoft Office, estimation, and project management. 

Barbara A. Ritzert

Mrs. Ritzert is part Owner, CFO, and Co-founder of Ritzert Co., Inc. She worked at Mead Johnson from 1965 to 1972 as a private secretary and then was promoted into the payroll department. She later became a partner in the business in 1972 and is currently part owner of Ritzert Co., Inc. She is proficient in Peachtree Accounting software, Microsoft Office, and business account relations. She is also a Notary Public in the State of Indiana.

Roy K. Ritzert

Roy Kevin is President and part Owner of Ritzert Co., Inc. He has also been a Project Superintendent for over 30 years with Ritzert Co., Inc. and has completed many Multi-Million Dollar Jobs including offices, multifamily housing, hospitals, schools, manufacturing, warehousing, site utilities and churches. Roy Kevin graduated from High School in 1986 and then graduated from Plumbers – Pipefitters School 1990. He then went on to Ivy-Tech State College and finished with an Associate Degree in Industrial Technology with Honors (Magna Cum Laude) in 1995. He holds Master Plumbing License in Indiana as well as a Master HVAC License in Vanderburgh County. He also has earned his Industrial Refrigeration Licenses for Indiana and is a certified welder. He has extensive knowledge in the maintenance of refrigeration systems, including ammonia chiller systems, and has installed countless hydronic systems over the past three decades. Over the years Roy has saved our customers tens of thousands of dollars in energy costs by correcting controls and equipment problems. When it comes to troubleshooting HVAC systems and controls, Roy Kevin is the go to guy!

Nick A. Ritzert

Nick is currently Vice President of Construction and part Owner. He has been a Project Superintendent with Ritzert Co., Inc. for over two decades and has completed many Multi-Million Dollar Jobs including Offices, Multifamily Housing, Hospitals, Schools, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Site Utilities and Churches. He graduated from High School 1997 and then from Plumbers – Pipefitters School 2002. He holds Plumbing License in Indiana. He is also a Certified Cross Connection Control Device Tester and Installer in the State of Indiana and a Certified Welder and Medical Gas Installer. Nick has experience in home building, earthwork and heavy equipment operating, as well as commercial and industrial piping systems and metal fabrication.

Timothy E. Ritzert

Tim is currently Vice President of Operations and part Owner. He started with Ritzert Co., Inc. in 1999 as a Project Engineer and has since achieved a triple role as the Chief Estimator and Project Manager. He graduated from Purdue University 1999 with a B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. During college, he was an engineering co-op student for three semesters performing plumbing design and drafting at an Indianapolis engineering firm. Tim has his Engineer Intern (EI) Certification in the State of Ohio and is a member of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE). He has extensive computer knowledge specializing in Microsoft Office, AutoCad, Trimble Autobid Mechanical, MS Project, and Pipe Designer 3D. Tim is Niagara AX certified in HVAC controls integration and is also the company’s IT technician in charge of all the computer maintenance, networking, cyber security, and CCTV security systems. He is also experienced in survey layout using a Leica Total Station and operates an aerial drone to produce the company’s construction site photos. He has a Kentucky Boiler Contractors License, Building Contractors and Residential Contractors Licenses for Vanderburgh County in the State of Indiana, and is a Notary Public in the State of Indiana. Prior to college, Tim also spent time in the field as a plumber and fitter installing plumbing systems, site utilities, and hydronic HVAC systems.
